Mr. Jethwa, a cricket enthusiast and dynamic leader, played university cricket in Mumbai and participated in renowned tournaments. In 2011, he founded Straight Drive, an event management company that has successfully organized 35 tournaments across India. With a visionary approach, he led the company to host various tournaments, including an Inter-College T-20 event and the Kenya T20 Premier League. One of the notable achievements under Mr. Jethwa’s leadership was the organization of an Inter-College T-20 tournament during the 2013-2014 season. This initiative not only showcased his commitment to promoting cricket at the grassroots level but also drew participation from over 500 players. The inclusivity of U14/16/19 and open tournaments annually further emphasized the broad impact of Straight Drive on the cricketing community.
